Dr. Gabriel De Simon is the Medical Director at Clinical P.E.T. of West County. He has more than 10 years of diagnostic radiology experience, including training in nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET), and is recognized for his interpreting expertise in the nuclear medicine modality. Dr. De Simon is also the Director of Nuclear Medicine at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.

Dr De Simon was formerly a diagnostic radiology resident at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, and subsequently did a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the MIR, with both American Board of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Certification.

A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. De Simon currently resides in St. Louis. He previously served as an attending radiologist at the Hillbrow and Johannesburg Academic Hospitals, University of the Witwatersrand, Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa, after completing a four year residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1995. Dr. De Simon received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982, and his Medical Degree in 1987 from the University of the Witwatersrand, and subsequently did his internship at the Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg.

In addition to his work in Nuclear Medicine at the Washington University Medical Center, Dr. De Simon has extensive experience in General Radiology, including Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasonography, Mammography, Gastro-intestinal and Interventional Radiology.
