Dr. Inta Silvia Berzins will serve as a staff radiologist at Clinical P.E.T. of West County. Dr. Berzins is a partner of Diagnostic Imaging Associates. Previously, Dr. Berzins was an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Department of Radiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Berzins is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology with Special Competence in Nuclear Radiology.

A Phi Beta Kappa at Stanford University, Dr. Berzins received a Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction) in Human Biology. Dr. Berzins, was in the M.D. program at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, and received her Doctor of Medicine (with Distinction) from the George Washington University Medical School in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Berzins served as a Resident in Nuclear Medicine at the Mallinckrodt institute of radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she also completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology. As part of her postgraduate training, Dr. Berzins was a Fellow in Obstetrical-Gynecological Ultrasound at Jewish and Barnes Hospital, also part of the Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Berzins is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.
